The truth of God is meant to be more than just acquiring knowledge about God. The truth of God is intended to set us free, forming us increasingly into who God created us to be. However, the Bible presents so many examples of people who knew the Scriptures, but did not know God in a personal way. The hope of your time reflecting and responding to what you read is that the truth of God and His heart for you as His child would take root in your soul beyond simply good ideas. Where there is temptation to make our response so much about what we need to do to apply this to our lives, we encourage you to ponder these questions in honest prayer.
